Largely plagued by inconsistency but still have some brilliant scenes. Season 8 relies more on the ensemble reaction to events rather than split subplots, resulting in beautiful encapsulations of the series' strength.
After their first time, Clyde's reaction is so sweet, cute, and heartbreaking. They loved each other with all they have, their life. Faye Dunaway is not pretty, but seductive. I don't understand how come Estelle Parsons got an Oscar, but not Dunaway or Beatty. Great costume.
